      It’s a fair question. They have a good record and RPI, but it appears the committee is starting to consider other metrics and not rely so heavily on RPI. They don’t have a strong kenpom or sagarin ranking, though they are okay in the ESPN BPI. Ultimately, looking at their resume, they have two okay wins and two bad losses, including one really bad loss. I think it’s a close call, but I don’t agree with other bracketologists who have them at 8 or 9 seed. At best, they are an 11 seed, but right now I have them just out of the field. I’ll keep reevaluating as we go along. I don’t think there is much difference between teams from Iowa St on down. This will be a hard year to predict. Thanks for reading.
